A Real Exploration
Having had our trials, and gotten to enjoy traveling, we were finally able to wake up early, and head out to the mountains, and witness the beauties of nature! During the exploration, we found many large mushrooms and fungus, alongside the wonderful landscape, with the gorgeous backdrop of the many peaks surrounding us. After having our fill, and worrying of sunset, we headed out to further explore the Gilford-Pinchot National Forest for potential campsites! My goodness did we find a spot! Right next to the Cowlitz river, and surrounded by trees readying for the winter. Having learned later about some other nearby sites being lost to the waters, we suddenly felt the weight of our opportunity to see a snapshot of nature, in time.
Fall is truly an enchanting season, and getting to see so much of it in one package is definitely an experience worth having.
