Anniversary in the Hoh Rainforest
Wow!! On hell of an exciting trip! I was very excited to get my hands on some Fuji Across II, as well as getting to use Pan F in medium format! Getting to make a collection of photos of a space is always the best feeling to me. We ended up staying in a camping space just outside of Forks, Washington; never drink their coffee, it’s the most disappointing experience I’ve had.
As we visited a very beautiful area, I’ve decided to post a portion of the photos in a set, which you can see here!
Going into this journey, I was excited to see nature, take pictures, and enjoy our anniversary. Unbeknownst to me, there was a secondary motive, as prepared by my partner, Mercury! While on the shore of Shi Shi Beach, the northernmost beach in washington, able to see Canada across the way, surrounded by formations only exposed to the world for slices of time in the day, he popped the question! I’m engaged! I was not expecting it at. all. I was so excited and flustered, I didn’t even know how to respond!
Despite always experiencing stresses throughout our journeys, they seem to only bring us together and tighten the bond. I’m excited to grow and have many wonderful moments with him in the future to come!
